There are many email marketing tools and they all have pros and cons. If you are sending a single e-news to a single list, any email service will have some nice templates and basic functionality to do that. If you are ready to do more with email marketing and focus on list building, the tool we have found most effective is AWeber. Visit website.
For nearly a decade BlueHost has hosted sites for our company and client projects. They include unlimited emails and have low cost plans to start you out and more services as you grow. Every time I call with issues or questions I get an actual person who is easy to understand, knowledgeable – and on the line right away. Visit website.
Landing Page Generator
This tool is on the top of my list for amazing resources. The landing page creator makes it so easy to build a webpage to collect registrations for an event or educational program. It has thank you pages and allows you to deliver downloadable files to reward people for joining your list. I think my favorite feature is the ability to get leads into your email list just by texting. If you have been on a webinar with me or attended one of my in person presentations, chances are you have seen LeadPages in action. And I bet you are on my email list now! Visit website.
When it comes to books, consider getting the audio version. Listening to business books is less dull when you can get in a walk, weed your garden, cook dinner or drive to a meeting while you are learning. It’s not hard to find time when you use your repetitive activities squeeze in some great ideas.
This list highlights the books I have found most helpful in branding, marketing, design and business thinking for a nonprofit.
